| SOUND EFFECTS
Few recording studios have the luxury of an in-house Foley Stage. Invented by Jack Foley in Hollywood around 1940, a Foley Stage is used for producing various sound effects to match the action shown on a motion picture screen. The Foley operator watches the film and manipulates various objects to produce convincing sound enhancements.
Available now is an extensive assortment of pre-recorded sound effects on CDs.
Tullen Sound Recording has a large library of SFX CDs.
